Groundbreaking for West Mesquite Interchange

The City of Mesquite, the Nevada Department of Transportation, and Regional Transportation Commission will celebrate the kick-off of the West Mesquite Interchange Design-Build project with a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday, June 2nd at 10 a.m. at the landscaped area near the 120 northbound exit ramp.

This $15 to $20 million project consists of the reconstruction of the West Mesquite interchange near Exit 120 on I-15. This reconstruction will feature new, longer structures, roundabouts at each ramp terminal, the extension of Falcon Ridge Parkway, and will also feature a landscaped and lighted area that celebrates the beauty of Mesquite.

The goal of the project is to create a better and high-quality operating highway that enhances Mesquite’s connectivity and is also aesthetically pleasing.

Where: Landscaped area next to the Exit 120 Northbound on-ramp. (Parking is available in the CasaBlanca Parking Lot, take first turn into CasaBlanca.
