The Mesquite Renewables web site was developed in conjunction with the Mesquite Area Energy Task Force, a citizen initiative working with the City of Mesquite and Overton Power District #5 to stabilize electric rates and lower electric bills for the City and for the citizens of Mesquite. It provides the citizens of Mesquite with information about renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy conservation, and—more importantly—gives them a way to participate in the development of our energy policies.
