The Finance Division has numerous responsibilities for maintaining sound financial stewardship. These responsibilities include.
- Provides accurate and timely financial information to the public, City Council, management, bondholders, and other interested external parties which is published annually as the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).
- Prepares the annual operating budget for the general fund, 20+ governmental funds as well as an enterprise fund.

- Processes payroll on a bi-weekly basis, ensures timely payment of vendor invoices semi-monthly, processes accounts receivable and cash receipting, business licensing, quarterly sewer and garbage billings.
